Title: Medical Billing SpecialistLocation: 100% RemoteOverviewMindseeker is looking for Medical Billing Specialists to assist with a surge in billing requirements for one of the top healthcare organizations in New Jersey. This is a remote contract position that can convert to permanent/full-time. The ideal candidates will have at least one year of hospital billing experience using the UB-04 Claims Form and excellent customer service skills.ResponsibilitiesReviews relevant documents, gathers necessary information, and follows applicable federal, state, third-party, and departmental regulations to accurately prepare and submit claims.Collects and communicates information from insurance carriers and patients to help facilitate timely payments on outstanding accounts.Keeps up to date with changes in third-party billing, collections, and bad debt regulations by reviewing bulletins and participating in required annual training sessions.Efficiently uses computer software to complete billing, follow-up, and related tasks.Sets and tracks goals for resolving outstanding issues with third-party payers.Reviews and analyzes patient accounts to ensure payments are accurate and properly recorded.Organizes, prioritizes, and maintains files and documentation in line with established policies and procedures.Reviews and manages assigned Aergo work lists on a daily basis.Performs other duties as assigned and remains flexible to accommodate changing departmental needs.SkillsMust have at least one year of Hospital Billing experienceMust have at least one year of experience using UB-04 Claim FormsMust have a High School Diploma or GEDJoin our dedicated team where your expertise in medical billing will contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services!Apply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjEyOTUxLjEwNDEyQG1pbmRzZWVrZXJpbmNjb21wLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ
