Job Title: Finish Carpenter

Job Description

Join a modular company specializing in building large custom modular buildings such as schools, hospitals, banks, restaurants, and offices. As a finish carpenter, you will be part of a team that includes plumbers, electricians, carpenters, welders, and laborers working together to bring these projects to life. You will report to the site location and work on various projects, following prints to install studs, drywall, trim, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Follow blueprints to install studs, drywall, and trim.

  • Perform rough framing of commercial buildings.

  • Measure and cut materials accurately.

  • Install hand and finish drywall.

  • Conduct trim work and carpentry tasks.

  • Collaborate with team members including electricians, HVAC technicians, and plumbers.

  • Ensure quality and precision in all construction activities.

Essential Skills

  • Framing

  • Finish carpentry

  • Drywall installation

  • Hand tool proficiency

  • Rough carpentry

  • Blueprint reading

  • Metal and wood experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience for higher pay range

  • 1-5 years of experience for mid pay range

  • 1 year or less of experience for entry-level pay range

  • Residential experience is acceptable

  • Ability to use trade-specific hand tools

Work Environment

Work primarily on-site, either inside a hanger or in the yard once the building is roughed in. Occasional travel may be required to the project finish location to assemble the structure.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr.
