ManTech Intrusions Task Lead in Linthicum Heights, Maryland
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Intrusions Task Lead to join our team in Linthicum, MD . This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leads the tasks to support the planning, organization, and execution of digital forensic examinations for a broad range of evidence items submitted to the customer.
Ensures digital forensic examinations are completed in accordance with requirements set forth by the Government and Federal law, the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), CFL’s SOPs, and the customer personnel handbook.
Ensures examiners write concise, comprehensive, and accurate notes throughout the digital forensic examination process. Ensures digital forensic examination capabilities and examiner skills keep up with associated technological advancements.
Computer and Information Research Scientist - Conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as theorists, designers, or inventors.
Develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardware and software.
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in cyber forensics, incident response, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in program management. Experience with the DoD or other government agencies is highly desirable.
Cyber/IT related certifications (e.g. CFCE, EnCE, ACE, SANS GIAC (GCFE, GCGA,. GASF), CTA DOD Certification, TCA (Teet Tech)
Must maintain a DoD 8570/8410 IAT Level I/II
Strong understanding of cyber forensic principles, methodologies, and tools. Experience with various operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead or manage a team of technical professionals. Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in working with Federal Government customers, specifically Department of Defense and Intelligence Community agencies.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an Active TS/SCI
Physical Requirements:
Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
