Actalent Traveling Superintendent in Loveland, Ohio
Responsibilities
Provide daily on-site supervision of subcontractors.
Monitor contractor production, schedule, and performance.
Ensure contractors complete work on schedule.
Communicate daily status of current projects to the Project Manager.
Report and address all potential safety concerns, incidents, and issues promptly.
Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements.
Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process.
Review all material submittals for compliance with plans.
Essential Skills
3+ years of superintendent experience.
Experience in commercial construction highly preferred.
Ability to travel year-round; home every other weekend.
Proficiency in Procore.
Experience in construction management.
Experience with general contractor and subcontractor management.
Work Environment
This role involves traveling to various project sites, which include grocery stores, tractor dealerships, restaurants, travel centers, car dealerships, and car washes. The company provides a $30 per day per diem for food, a $500 monthly vehicle allowance, and covers lodging and flights. A company phone is provided, and you will be home every other weekend.
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).During the initial 12 months, you will be employed through Actalent Services where you will have access to full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k). After 12 months you will be eligible to transition to the construction firm as a direct employee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $54.00/hr.
