TAD PGS, Inc. Maintenance Mechanic in Macedonia, Ohio
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanicto join a leading Company located in the Macedonia, OH surrounding area.
The Production Supervisor will supervise and coordinate activities of production employees in manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibilities:
-Responsible for adhering to, and maintaining all ISO 9001 procedures and requirements of the Maintenance function and department. This includes active participation in the internal and external audits for the Rochester plant, when necessary.
-Active member of Process Management Team (PMT).
-Responsible for maintaining and fixing all production equipment within plant facility.
-Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
-Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
-Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
-Starts devices to test their performance.
-Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
-Repairs electrical equipment.
-Performs all preventative maintenance on machinery following a set preventative maintenance (PM) schedule.
Responsible for housekeeping functions within maintenance shop and work areas.
Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to eight months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
