Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This individual will be responsible for assembling gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components using hand and power tools. The role involves performing quality checks and testing units to ensure they meet our standards. The position offers opportunities for growth and skill development in a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components based on work orders.
Utilize hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches.
Perform quality checks and test assembled units.
Handle larger, more complex gearbox assemblies as well as simpler motor assemblies.
Work collaboratively with the Production Support team to ensure all parts are available for assembly.
Essential Skills
1+ year of assembly experience.
1+ year of job tenure in recent roles.
Ability to move and push up to 50+ lbs.
Experience with hand tools, production, mechanical assembly, and general labor.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in assembling units from the ground up (not just repetitive tasks).

Work Environment
The position is based in a clean, recently expanded facility with a new automated paint line system. Employees work at individual workstations with tools provided. The environment is climate-controlled but can get hot during summer months. The noise level is moderate. Employees must wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and attire without holes or tears. The shift is Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential overtime extending to 4:30-5 PM. There is also a requirement to work four Saturdays per year.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.32 - $21.93/hr.
