Job Title: Commercial HVAC Lead
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Lead to install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will identify maintenance issues, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and provide technical direction on operational training of maintenance staff or owners. This role also includes cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, performing warranty services, and promptly executing emergency repairs.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
Identify maintenance issues on HVAC heating and cooling equipment.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Provide technical direction on operational training of maintenance staff or owners.
Keep records of all maintenance functions and time on site, including promptly filling out and turning in service tickets to the office.
Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.
Assist with customers' inquiries.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Valid driver's license
Technical school training along with Freon Certifications
Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
Working knowledge of boiler systems
Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
Verbal and interpersonal skills
Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays

Work Environment
We work in offices, hospitals/clinics, and various other places, expecting our employees to treat people properly and respectfully. This is a commercial HVAC install role with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
