Job Title: Composite Production Technician
Job Description
As a Composite Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by handling materials, operating machinery, and ensuring the quality of composite panel products. You will work both independently and as part of a team to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. Flexibility and a willingness to work overtime, including weekends, are essential.
Responsibilities
Pull materials from cold storage and allow them to acclimate per the specification.
Cut materials to the correct size according to work orders.
Lay up cut materials into panel construction as specified in the work order.
Transfer panel constructions into the platen press, adjusted to the correct temperature per the work order.
Operate the press to perform the correct burp cycle for optimal removal of volatiles.
Remove panel constructions from the platen press after they have cured for the specified time.
Record press processing information on work orders to maintain traceability of panels.
Trim panels on a CNC machine to the specified dimensions in the work order.
Palletize completed panels for shipping.
Maintain storage conditions for temperature-sensitive materials.
Actively participate in operational improvement activities.
Cross-train or transfer to other departments as needed.
Perform other tasks as needed with a focus on flexibility.
Willing to work overtime, including weekends.
Essential Skills
Experience in production line and production equipment operation.
Knowledge of machine safety, composite manufacturing, and composite materials.
Experience in production assembly, machine operation, and trim work.
General labor and assembly skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of relevant, steady work history preferred, with manufacturing experience being a plus.
Good basic math skills.
Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Legible handwriting and printing.
Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
A sincere desire to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility where materials are produced and assembled into complete panel products. The environment may include heat, smells from ovens, and flakes of composite materials. Safety shoes with steel or composite toes are required. Shifts available are: 1st (4 AM - 2:30 PM), 2nd (2 PM - 11:30 PM), and 3rd (10 PM - 6:30 AM). You must be open to rotating shifts and working weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marysville, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
