Aerotek Hvac Technician in Medley, Florida
Job Title: HVAC Technician
Responsibilities
Assemble elevators up to 4 floors using hand and power tools
Clean parts and finished products
Move and stage equipment for assembly
Follow blueprints
Communicate with field staff to help troubleshoot issues
Essential Skills
Experience with the use of hand and power tools
Mechanical inclination (lube technicians, HVAC techs, auto mechanics, alarm/cable installers)
Ability to follow drawings/blueprints
Proficiency in English or Spanish
Comfortable with heights
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with power tools such as grinders and power drills
Experience with hand tools, blueprint reading, tape measures, and HVAC systems

Work Environment
You will work in a midsized warehouse with about 15 other workers including engineers. The shop floor is very busy with various work stations and operates at a fast pace with tight deadlines. The warehouse has an open bay design but is equipped with fans to ensure comfort. It can get cold in winter and hot in summer. The environment is noisy with heavy parts and equipment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm, with 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medley, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
