AI Program Support Co-op

Global Customer Outcomes, Advantedge AI Team

Role Objective : To support the Advantedge AI Team in enhancing productivity within the software professional services organization through the application of AI technologies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

Communication and Outreach :

  • Develop and distribute updates on AI projects to the professional services community.

  • Organize and facilitate educational events such as webinars and workshops on AI applications.

  • Collect and analyze community feedback to inform AI strategy and development.

Research and Analysis :

  • Investigate cutting-edge AI technologies and industry developments to propose innovative applications.

  • Analyze potential AI use cases for technical and business viability.

  • Create and discuss reports regarding investigation and analysis.

Proof of Concept (PoC) Development :

  • Contribute to the creation of PoCs using Siemens Mendix and other platforms to validate AI use cases.

  • Work alongside the technical team to merge AI capabilities with existing infrastructure.

  • Document PoC results, including metrics and stakeholder feedback.

Production Delivery Support :

  • Aid in scaling successful PoCs to full production, ensuring quality and efficiency.

  • Contribute to the creation of production-level code, comprehensive documentation, and user guides.

  • Monitor deployed AI solutions and assist in problem-solving and enhancement initiatives.

Collaboration and Team Support :

  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to integrate AI technologies seamlessly.

  • Actively participate in team meetings, offering insights on project status and obstacles.

  • Undertake additional tasks to further the team's objectives.

Qualifications :

  • Enrolled in a junior or senior year of a Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related program with an emphasis on AI.

  • Solid understanding of AI principles, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics.

  • Proficiency in programming (Python) and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).

  • Experience in programming (Java, JavaScript) is a plus.

  • Experience with cloud services APIs (Azure, AWS, etc.) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with web application development.

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts effectively.

  • Analytical thinker with a knack for problem-solving and innovative solution development.

  • Self-motivated learner with a keen interest in AI advancements.

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
