JOB REQUIREMENTS: Provide merchant boarding services globally through REST endpoints for onboarding and updating merchants. Interact with product owners to understand their business requirements and expectations. Conduct system design including designing both high-level and low-level structures; lead complex initiatives to transform monolithic architecture into microservices; and enhance the scalability of the merchant boarding API by implementing the Spring Reactive framework and utilizing Google Pub-Sub broker for asynchronous communication between services. Generate Open API specifications for onboarding microservices to facilitate the boarding and management of new merchants within the system. Collaborate closely with security and payments architects and across cross-functional teams to comprehend the business domain, stay informed about technology directions/changes, and adhere to coding standards and best practices. Perform debugging, troubleshooting and code reviews of existing software applications, and optimize code performance by implementing efficient algorithms and best industry practices. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 7 years in any job title involving Java development experience.
