MIG Welder
Job Description
Perform horizontal and vertical MIG welding on a variety of materials, primarily aluminum (90%), with smaller amounts of steel (6%) and stainless (3%). Welds range from 18-gauge to 3/8". Occasional TIG welding may be required. Use .360 wire, 4043 wire, 5356 wire, and .035 wire as needed. Inspect own welds using visual methods, with some welds requiring certification. Work alongside 4-5 other welders on shift.
Responsibilities
Perform horizontal and vertical MIG welding on a variety of materials.
Occasionally perform TIG welding as needed.
Use .360 wire, 4043 wire, 5356 wire, and .035 wire as required.
Inspect own welds using visual methods.
Ensure some welds meet certification standards.
Collaborate with a team of 4-5 welders on shift.
Essential Skills
1+ year of welding experience (either school or on the job).
Ability to read weld blueprints and symbols.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding experience (either school or on the job) is a plus.
Experience with MIG welding, blueprint reading, and wire feed.
Skills in fabrication, aluminum welding, and grinding.
Familiarity with stainless steel, mild steel, and hand tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.05 - $24.05/hr.
