A millwright, also known as an industrial mechanic, installs, maintains, and repairs industrial machinery. They work in factories, power plants, and construction sites. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints • Assemble, disassemble, and reposition machinery • Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently • Transfer machinery to different locations • Perform major repairs Skills • Use precision instruments to take accurate measurements • Use documents like drawings, tables, and specifications • Evaluate the condition of machines and their components • Use technical expertise to install machinery Work environment • Work in industrial settings • Work with complex machinery like compressors, pumps, conveyors, and more Additional information • Millwrights are skilled professionals who are trained in the use of tools, equipment, and materials • Millwrights are needed for major repairs because of their knowledge about the machinery they install

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
