County of Monroe Part_Time Park Maintenance Worker in Monroe, Michigan

General Summary:
Under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Crew Leader, Performs a variety of grounds maintenance activities at county buildings and parks including but not limited to mowing lawns, trimming trees and bushes, filling holes, picking up debris, seeding grass, applying lawn chemicals, raking leaves, and removing snow. Installs, maintains, and repairs park equipment such as picnic tables, playground equipment, signs, and grills. May operate small power and hand tools, lawn mowers and other equipment.
Employment Qualifications:
Education: At least 18 years of age, or High school graduation or equivalent.
Experience: Prefer experience with lawn equipment and tools.
Other Requirements: Possession of a valid Driver's License. Ability to work up to 24 hours a week.
