Job Title: Aerospace Structural Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Structural Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will assemble units, parts, equipment, and components in structural assembly according to blueprints and specifications. Your work will involve using hand tools and power tools, and ensuring all components are installed and tested for fit, performance, and compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble units, parts, equipment, and components in structural assembly according to blueprints and specifications using hand and power tools.
Bolt, screw, or rivet accessories to fasten, support, or hang components and subassemblies.
Drill holes in structures and subassemblies, and attach brackets, hinges, or clips to secure installation or fasten subassemblies.
Locate and mark reference points and holes for installation of parts and components using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments.
Inspect and test installed units, parts, and equipment for fit, performance, and compliance with standards using measuring instruments and test equipment.
Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points.
Cut, trim, and file parts, and verify fitting tolerances to prepare for installation.
Install bushings using liquid nitrogen or presses as required.
Apply sealants or paint per customer specifications using proper safety devices.
Use shop equipment needed to complete operations, such as C-squeeze, arbor presses, ground stud puller, cherry pullers, and shop hand tools.
Essential Skills
Assembly experience (Level 1: 6 months, Level 2: 1 year, Level 3: 3 years)
Experience with hand and power tools
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Basic math skills
Mechanical and electrical assembly skills
Experience with Microsoft Windows
Mechanical aptitude
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in aerospace assembly is preferred
General labor and assembly line experience
Wiring and electronic assembly experience

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
