JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting Business Bankers and Treasury Management Officers with various administrative duties. They would assist in entering loans in the commercial loan processing system, (nCino), collecting financial and entity documents, updated Insurance from customers, assist with following up on maturing loans and shepherding a loan request from application to closing. They will also support Treasury Management Officers by opening new deposit accounts, complete wire transfers, assist with customer inquiries and other tasks as assigned. Serves as Quality Control prior to deposit account opening. This position will include direct contact with customers to collect additional information for new and existing loans and Treasury Management Products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting updated financial information and working with Credit Administration to keep files up to date.
  • Including requesting, reviewing and approving Borrowing Bases and bringing any exceptions to Business Bankers to resolve
• Assist with collecting updated insurance
• Order Title Work
• Review Title Commitments and assist in resolving any exceptions
• Submit Appraisal Request to the Appraisal Management Company
• Prepare CIT requests to be reviewed by the Business Banker and approved by the Team Leader or Chief Business Banking Officer, (CBBO), as required
• Prepare Loan Modifications to be reviewed by the Business Banker and approved by CBBO or President
• Initiate loan request in nCino
• Review and confirm that all necessary entity and financial information is saved in nCino prior to submitting to Credit, including OFAC check for new entities
• Work with Credit to collect additional information as required to proceed with underwriting
• Ensure file is complete with title commitment, flood search, appraisal, and any other required documentation prior to submitting to commercial loan processing for loan documents
• Review loan documents for accuracy and work with Loan Processing to make necessary changes
• Assist with Esigning loan documents to customers when appropriate
• Review signed loan documents to ensure all documents are signed correctly
• Take minutes at OLC meetings
• Serve as backup to take minutes at SOLC and EOLC meetings
• Open deposit accounts for Business Banking and Treasury Management Customers
• Process wires for Business Banking and treasury Management Customers
• Assist with deposit account and other Treasury Management services as assigned
• Serves as Quality Control prior to deposit account opening
• Assist with customer inquiries for Business Banking and Treasury Management
• Perform other duties and assist on special projects as assigned

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

• Reports to Senior Business Banking Assistant
• Maintains strong relationships and collaboration skills with Business Bankers, Treasury Management Officers, Commercial Loan Processing Team, Credit, Deposit Operations, Compliance and Retail.
• Business Banking customers

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years' experience in Banking, Commercial Loan Processing, or Credit preferred
• Strong communication skills and customer service experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Strong Windows-based PC and software skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, Onboard, Salesforce and nCino)
