We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software and other industry-standard techniques and tools. Key responsibilities include utilizing CAD software to create detailed technical drawings, learning and using customer-specific software for drafting and data input, and supporting and coordinating with Outside Plant (OSP) Designers to convert rough field designs into finalized work prints, adhering to various customer specifications. Additionally, the CAD Technician I will collaborate with OSP Designers to address and resolve discrepancies between initial drawings and final CAD designs, as well as read, evaluate, and interpret designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

What it takes

  • 0-1 years’ experience of related experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD

  • Good technical writing skills

  • Detail-focused and well-organized, with good problem-solving skills

  • Able to work as part of a team, yet be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
