Winland Foods Maintenance Mechanic in North East, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Rotating 2/2/3 schedule with 12 hour shifts
Hours: 2nd shift 6:00 pm to 6:30 am
Work Location: 11160 Parkway Drive, North East, PA 16428

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: Range starts at $30 Per Hour with .75 cent shift differential after 2pm until 6am
• Works in partnership with Maintenance leadership and Production leadership to perform basic maintenance and repairs on conveyors, packaging equipment, production equipment, electrical controls systems and other related plant systems.

Job Description:
Works with guidance from upper level mechanics to perform routine inspections and monitoring of all production equipment.
Performs data entry into Computer Maintenance Management Systems
Works with guidance from more senior mechanics to prepare unscheduled work orders to support production requirements
Remains current in training expectations
Keeps work environment clean and safe
Able to follow direction for basic assembly and repair of equipment.
Works with other maintenance mechanics on projects and rebuilds
Complete paperwork for check lists, work orders, and other documentation
At end of shift, secures all equipment, performs general housekeeping duties and completes and maintains work records on CMMS
Proactively learns the lines and works with more senior mechanics to initiate corrective actions that circumvent downtime
Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds
Demonstrates excellent communications skills; listens to other ideas and suggestions
Works with honesty and integrity; upholds organizational values
Correctly enters time on Work Orders
Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Follows all safety policies and practices; proactively identifies safety hazards and risks
Follows all GMP and Food Safety Rules and Regulations
All other duties as assigned
