Chenango County Licensed Clinician in Norwich, New York
Provides comprehensive social work services to clients of the Community Mental Health Clinic, Psychosocial Club Program, or Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services Program. Responsible for performing client evaluations and assessments, formulating treatment plans and conducting individual and group therapy sessions. Coordinate services for clients and may perform intensive case management functions requiring a significant amount of travel using the employees personal vehicle. Maintain a variety of client records and related documentation and are required to participate in an on-call rotation during clinic hours to respond to crisis situations.<p> Qualifications : Possession of one of the following: current New York State License as a Master of Social Work, Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Creative Arts Therapist, or Psychoanalyst; OR Possession of a provisional license as a Mental Health Counselor; OR Possession of a limited permit to practice licensed master social work and use the title licensed master social worker.
This title has been approved without the need to take an examination through the HELP Program of the NYS Department of Civil Service.
