The Pointe Assistant to Director in Oil City, Pennsylvania

Overview: To assist the Executive Director in orgnaization and implementation of program information and activitites and events

*Duties and Responsibilities: *

  • Assist the Executive Director in all areas considered appropriate
  • Assist, coordinate, implement and evaluate The Pointe's services that promotes self-recovery to mental health consumers and their friends and family
  • Provide accurate and clear information
  • Share facts, not opinions
  • Assist with marketing The Pointe in our community
  • Maintain and reinforce confidentiality while encouraging the inclusion at The Pointe
  • Maintain personal integrity
  • Assist in the completion of reports, budgets and other administrative information
  • Assist in the daily management duties of The Pointe
  • Supply resources and encouragement to members of The Pointe
  • Encourage member participant and help staff as needed
  • Maintain a physical environment that conforms to The Pointe policies as they related to safety and cleanliness
  • Depending on shift- you may be responsible for opening or closing the facility
  • Coordinate and communicate with staff, volunteers and members to assure that The Pointe goals are achieved on a continuous basis
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings and other community meetings/trainings as required
  • Other duties as required

  • Performs other job-related work as required
