Seeking an Attorney/Lawyer for a position in Orlando, Florida. As part of your role, you will be offering high-quality legal services, representing, and advising clients on their family law matters. Responsibilities:
• Represent and advise vulnerable and low-income clients on a wide array of family legal matters.
• Regularly appear in State and Federal courts, representing clients in hearings and trials.
• Engage in frequent client interaction, including intake completion, conducting interviews, and providing advice and counsel.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to assigned cases.
• Prepare and review an array of legal writings such as pleadings, discovery, orders, and other documents for court or government agencies.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements to resolve client matters effectively.
• Participate actively in outreach events or activities of the unit and organization, fostering community engagement and awareness.
• Utilize software such as 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and Case Management Software to manage client data and case information effectively.
• Manage client complaints and claims administration, ensuring client satisfaction and case resolution.
• Leverage skills in civil litigation and consumer electronics to provide comprehensive client service.
Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field, specifically as an Attorney/Lawyer.
• Knowledge and proficiency in using 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and Case Management Software are required.
• Must be adept at Conveyancer and Document Management tasks.
• The ability to prepare and deliver briefings effectively is crucial.
• Experience in Civil Litigation is necessary.
• Must be skilled in Claim Administration.
• Proficiency in handling complaints professionally and effectively is required.
• Familiarity and experience in dealing with Consumer Electronics related cases are advantageous.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high ethical standards.
• The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing of a state bar association.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently is necessary.
