Responsibilities: Follow blueprints and use hand tools and shop machines. Cut and bore holes in bulkheads and decks for the installation of pipes. Cut and thread pipe and pipe fittings. Connect pipes to fixtures and test systems for leaks, ensuring that the system meets specifications. Work with a tacker/helper to perform precision work and solve problems. Perceive pertinent details in objects or blueprints.
Qualifications: 3.5 years of experience as a pipefitter. Capable of operating a cutting torch and tack welding. Knowledge of blueprints and drawings.
