2025 marks an exciting chapter in our journey as we embark on a comprehensive property refurbishment project. This transformation presents a unique opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team of 63 hotel colleagues, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of one of Perth's most distinctive hotels.
Your day-to-day
As Operations Manager you will lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel and are responsible for the effective running of both the Rooms Division and Food and Beverage Departments to ensure the achievement of established Crowne Plaza quality, guest and colleague standards along with departmental revenue and profit goals.
This is a critical position requiring proven capability in creating a positive and productive work environment. Your strength will be your ability to build, motivate, and lead an effective team that delivers results and is highly engaged.
Some of the responsibilities could be, but not limited to:
Coach, mentor and performance manage to maintain high standards and develop team members and emerging leaders
Maintain and foster a higher performing culture and high levels of team engagement
Ensure exceptional guest experiences across all touchpoints ensuring maintenance of IHG’s True Hospitality standards and Crowne Plaza Dare to Connect service behaviours
Monitor and optimise departmental budgets and payroll costs by overseeing staff scheduling and resource allocation
Review and action guest feedback for continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, emergency procedures and IHG Brand Standards

What we need from you
Four years of guest service/hotel experience in a management capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Great communication skills (written and verbal), passion for developing people and self, and in turn, delivering results
Ability to manage complex relationships and key stakeholders, whilst maintaining a hands-on and ‘leading by example’ approach
Creativity for new ideas and an interest to bring fresh ideas and viewpoints
Comprehension of Hotel systems (Opera, Infrasys) and revenue management principles
Valid Approved Managers Certification, First Aid Certificate, and Safe Food Handling Certification
Some occasional flexibility with your roster at times of shortage
