Senior Product Marketing Manager
The Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the development, optimization, and execution of product marketing strategies for data and analytics within the Omnicell’s Data Platform & analytics organization. This role serves as the go-to-market leader, collaborating with sales, marketing, and product management to ensure messaging, programs, tools, and training address critical market needs and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the Value Story: Understand the solution architecture design, purpose, and translate that technical knowledge and product strategy into the messaging necessary to purposefully execute and win with targeted customers.
Understand the Market:
Lead Go-To-Market Strategy: Design and guide implementation of go-to-market plans, inclusive of related segmentation, persona definition, market and customer research, competitive analysis, message and message testing, product launches, persuasive content and tools, and sales training.
Lead the marketing program: Lead in partnership with broader marketing to drive purposeful execution of strategy across events, campaigns, tools, and training.
Lead Message Strategy : Lead message strategy and purposeful execution for key events, such as tradeshows, thought leadership events, webinars, and user group meetings as well as various campaigns
Create Content: Develop content for marketing collateral, social media, websites, and other channels.
Support Pipeline : Study pipeline and market results; confidently run demos, webinars, and attend relevant events to drive product adoption.
Support Release Activities: Generate and/or review technical documentation, external messaging, updated content, sales enablement, and other activities inclusive of ensuring purposeful execution of go-to-market strategy within the broader team’s operations.
Know the Journey : Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure user experience journeys, buyer’s journeys, and software migration journeys are effectively defined, aligned, messaged, and implemented.
Work as a Team : Collaborate with cross-functional partners consistently and effectively in order to ensure alignment on the technology and translate it to marketing strategy and story, further driving cross-functional efficiency, alignment, and drive sales and market performance in accordance with strategy.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Expertise in product marketing : Research, strategy, and execution thereof - with a track record of successful new and existing product launches and ongoing performance improvement.
Technical domain experience : Domain experience in software solution architecture (the “full stack” of data base, operating system, and applications) and/or enterprise software. Proven ability to map data, platforms, and applications to customer and user value messaging and the got-to-market strategy.
Results-oriented and growth-focused : A demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality outcomes and align internal teams.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills : Ability to interpret data and insights, identify problems, and develop sound solutions and value stories.
Exceptional communication skills: Ability to translate complexity into simplicity with an crucial emphasis on value and strategy.
Exceptional collaboration skills : The ability to influence cross-functional teams and present confidently to customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools; advanced design and narrative skills are a plus.
Prioritization & Time Management Skills : Ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage stakeholders effectively, and build alignment across teams.
Passionate about the mission to lead the engine that drives operational, financial, and clinical outcomes for medication management via technology.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in product marketing or high school diploma/GED with 9+ years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the technology, healthcare, or medical sector.
Minimum of 3 year in software solution architecture and/or enterprise software
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or other advanced degree.
Experience in healthcare pharmacy operations
Familiarity with human-centered design principles and persuasive narrative frameworks
