Job Title: Panel Builder
Job Description
The Panel Builder is responsible for assembling and wiring Industrial Control Panels, Electro/Mechanical sub-assemblies, and major assemblies according to internal and customer specified quality requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
Responsibilities
Assemble and wire Industrial Control Panels, Electro/Mechanical sub-assemblies, and major assemblies.
Read and understand mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
Apply technical skills effectively to ensure quality and compliance.
Assist in the development and build of prototype industrial control panels and assemblies.
Identify, correct, and repair non-conforming materials.
Document and notify discrepancies as per standard operational procedures.
Select and use appropriate assembly and wiring tools, including manuals and pneumatic or electric hand tools.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading and understanding mechanical, electrical/electronic, and pneumatic drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
Basic computer skills, including email and MRP software.
Knowledge of assembly and wiring tools.
High School Education or GED.
5 years of related work experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Status as Certified IPS Specialist to IPC/WHMA-A-620.
Familiarity with UL-508A standards.
Additional education is preferred.
Prior experience as a panel builder.

The pay range for this position is $44000.00 - $56000.00/yr.
