Were hiring a Personal Banker to join our West Lawn Team.
This person is responsible for developing and maintaining a personal portfolio of prospects and customers and delivering exceptional service. Profiling customers to determine their needs, then cross-selling appropriate products and services and/or referring customer to the integrated platform. They are responsible for providing a broad base of services, including deposit-based, credit, investment and fee-based products, with the goal of acquiring 100% of the customer's business. Develops and maintains relationships with Univest partners to maximize sales opportunities and achieve minimum sales standards. Proactively makes outbound sales calls to inform customers about a wide variety of financial services solutions that will meet their needs and deepen the customer experience and relationship. The incumbent will also be responsible to service customers at the teller line by completing a variety of financial transactions following technical and operational guidelines.

Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
POSITION INCLUDES:
Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accuratelyAdhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelinesOperate technology as requiredSupervision of teller operations Increased responsibility and adherence in signing authorityCompletion of the Excel Level 1 course and completion of the Univest University Supervisor Certificate ProgramIdentify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to develop new businessDevelop working relationships with integrated partnersProactively initiate sales conversationsParticipation and management of tele-consulting effortsDevelop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and ServicesLeverage bank promotions Adhere to outlined sales flow Learn and become proficient in daily operational proceduresActively participate in branch activities, development and training programsManage and coach staff to desired performance levelsResponsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma/GED or equivalency Attention to detail and ability to prioritize Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales resultsStrong written/verbal/organizational skillsDemonstrated leadership/supervisory abilityEnergetic and engaging interpersonal communication skillsPrevious experience with MS Office SuitePrevious banking experience or completion of ABA Banking Basics suiteProficiency in daily operational proceduresCompletion of training in SSR Suite TrainingProficiency in daily operational proceduresComplete notary training if applicableNeat, professional appearance following established guidelines for appropriate dressComplete the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program and the Coaching for Performance Excellence course. The salary for this position starts at $24.00/hr
