Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager II to lead initiatives in support of the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program. This role will focus on maximizing the success of BEAD program applications through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and meticulous project execution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications broadband infrastructure and experience navigating government funding processes. This is a critical role that demands a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of BEAD program applications, from strategy to final submission.
Conduct needs assessments to identify opportunities and eligible projects.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders and external partners.
Ensure compliance with BEAD program guidelines and government regulations.
Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Analyze data to support application content and decision-making.
Serve as the primary liaison with government officials, community partners, and internal departments.
Monitor and report on program progress and post-submission activities.
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of program management experience in a large organization.
Proven experience with broadband infrastructure projects and government grant/funding applications.
Strong understanding of BEAD program or similar federal/state broadband initiatives is a plus.
Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.
Strong analytical, budgeting, and reporting capabilities.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
