Job Title: Software Test Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing software to automate hardware test systems using Python for scripting. You will develop software infrastructure to support test case creation and work with CI/CD systems such as AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline. You will align with various stakeholders on software requirements, document these requirements, and support both manufacturing and new product development. Additionally, you will enable automated data collection and analysis, deliver end-user documents, and execute software quality and release processes.
Responsibilities
Write software to automate hardware test systems using Python for scripting.
Develop software infrastructure to support test case creation.
Work with CI/CD systems (AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline).
Align with various stakeholders on software requirements.
Document software requirements from users.
Support manufacturing as well as new product development.
Enable automated data collection and data analysis.
Deliver end-user documents.
Execute software quality and release processes.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Python for scripting.
Experience working with CI/CD systems (AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline).
Strong background in software testing and developing test cases.
Mid-level Linux OS experience, with the ability to set up Linux machines.
Experience with Test Stand or Python as the scripting language.
Experience with electrical test equipment.
Knowledge of software quality and release processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with SQL, software testing, Selenium, automated testing, and scripting.
Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks.
Ability to document software requirements and deliver end-user documents.
Work Environment
This position is based onsite in Redmond, working in R&D labs with the potential for future involvement in a manufacturing environment. You will join a fast-paced team dedicated to making a significant impact on the world. We offer 15 days of PTO per year and 7 paid holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
