Duties include planting, weeding, harvesting fruits and vegetables, farmers market preparation, customer service, grounds maintenance, etc. A successful candidate should have:
- Friendly and positive approach towards co-workers and customers
- Experience with gardening tools, mowing equipment, small tractors
- Neat and tidy appearance.
- Interest in being part of the local food and local business community.
- Drivers license and ability to get to the farm
- Ability to work outside in any weather, engaged in heavy labor such as weeding, harvesting, pruning, etc for 8 hr days
- Ability to lift 50lb loads repeatedly
