Mendix is recruiting for a Junior level IT Support Specialist (1st Line support) to join our team based out of Rotterdam, Netherlands. In this role, you will work with the Global Support Team, collaborating with colleagues in EMEA, APAC, and the US region, working on a follow-the-sun 24/5 approach. This role is a great starting point for recent grads or those just finishing school and looking for their first job. Some experience, like an internship during studies, would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Every day you will work on a variety of cases for the first line support of Mendix. Dedicated and goal-oriented, you will manage various work environments, taking responsibility for maintaining and improving Mendix workplaces, including applications.

  • You'll work closely with system administrators and IT specialists in our IT teams.

  • With your stellar communication skills, service-oriented attitude, and problem-solving will, you will consistently provide quick solutions that surprise and delight our customers.

  • Office 365 applications like Microsoft Teams

  • Slack

  • Azure portal Active Directory (Cloud)

  • MS Intune

  • MS SharePoint Online

  • MS Exchange Online

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will possess at least an ICT MBO 4 Diploma.

  • Ideally at least one certificate for ITIL Foundation, Windows 10, or Microsoft Office 365.

  • A structured style of working, maintaining an overview and insight into how to resolve issues and close out active cases.

  • Some proven experience as a First line support engineer.

  • Excellent communication skills (strong English and Dutch language skills)

  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands

  • Ability to handle various situations by asking the right questions and providing reassurance to map out and solve problems quickly.
