A + Landscaping, LLC Nursery Worker in Saginaw, Minnesota

Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Nursery Workers to work in Saginaw, MN and Duluth, MN. From: 03/31/2025 to 7/07/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day. Possible shift: 8:00AM-4:00PM. Possible weekend or holiday work. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Must Apply By: 05/20/2025 JOB DUTIES: Duties may include Harvest plants, transplant or pot and label. Operate tractors, skid steer, forklift, mini excavator, loader and various farm equipment, harrow and fertilize soil, plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Set up and operate irrigation equipment, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements and mechanical equipment, monitor health of crops, transport harvest crops to nursery store front, deliver crops to customers & other related Nursery Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength: exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 80lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol testing during employment: positive test/refusal to abide = dismissal. Possible background check post hire at employer's expense. Variable weather conditions may apply. Worker must be able to obtain a valid Class D US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Required work tools, supplies, and equipment provided by employer at no cost to worker. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least 15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
