The Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) administration is now hiring a Clinical Neuropsychologist to deliver services across the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Services (MHSATS) division. In this role, you will provide neuropsychological evaluations, clinical, consultation, staff education and training, and technical assistance in program development with a focus on serving individuals with neurocognitive disorders. You will also provide treatment planning guidance to referring treatment teams, along with supervision of psychometrists who conduct testing. The Clinical Neuropsychologist may be called on to assist other areas of Minnesota’s Direct Care and Treatment service lines for specialty tertiary services to those areas. Neuropsychologists practice strengths based rehabilitative approaches that are tailored to individuals from a wide range of lived and cultural experiences.
The practice involves primarily working with adults in a variety of settings ranging from 16-bed facilities across the state providing inpatient psychiatric treatment to 16-bed substance use and mental health residential treatment programs, and larger programs such as 100-bed metro area psychiatric hospital, group homes across the state, and a 300+ bed forensic hospital. While nearly all individuals served are adults, the division also serves children and adolescents in a 16-bed child and adolescent psychiatric hospital.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
Completion of an APA Approved Psychology internship
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Minnesota
Completion of Two-year APPIC post-doctoral residency in adult or child neuropsychology
Ability to provide comprehensive neuropsychological services
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in evaluation of specialty populations including individuals with acquired or developmental neurocognitive disorders
Two years of experience in providing inpatient neuropsychological evaluation of neurocognitive disorders
Experience teaching and training individuals in administration of testing
Experience supervising and training graduate students in neuropsychology
Experience supervising and training post-doctoral neuropsychology trainees
