We have partnered with a rapidly growing start-up company in the firearms industry based in Salt Lake City. Our client's core mission is to disrupt the market through innovation, ingenuity, and hard work. They are recognized as manufacturing the highest quality products in the world by the most elite precision shooters. Our client is seeking a Production Lead to join their team. We are searching for an individual with an eye for detail, a desire to work with innovative technology, and a passion for quality. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, be willing to learn, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and lead by example.
Daily Responsibilities:
Own the manufacturing operations
Lead manufacturing shift to achieve and exceed production goals
Maintain quality standards- perfection!
Hold daily production meetings to set the tone and motivate the production crew
Lead through example, setting the standard for all employees to work towards
Work with leadership to improve processes, equipment, and work environment to continuously improve the company.
Operate state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and maintain premium part quality
Move material through the varying processes
Constantly checking the visual and dimensional quality of the produced parts
Proactively develop and implement production improvement processes and standards
Position Requirements:
Must have a passion for perfection!
Be a servant leader, set an example through your actions
Reliable and on time daily (this is critical)
A desire to learn and add value throughout the company
Effective communication skills
GED or High School Diploma
Minimum 40-hour work week with overtime available
Ability to lift 30-40 lbs. over their head consistently throughout the day
Additional Highly Valued Skills:
2-3 years of experience leading a manufacturing team
5-10 years of working with highly automated manufacturing equipment
Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation control systems
Experienced in mechanical/automation troubleshooting
Experienced in electrical control board troubleshooting skills
