University of Utah PS Nurse Practitioner in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The NP/APRN or Physician Assistant role provides care and treatment to patients in the University of Utah Health Inpatient Geriatric Consult Service and the ambulatory Madsen Geriatric Clinic. This position involves working as part of a team with a geriatrician attending and fellows to care for patients aged 65 years and older.Key Responsibilities:Provide state-of-the-art care for older patients in outpatient clinics, inpatient and hospital programs, and long-term care settings.Address each of the 4 Geriatric Ms, guiding our participation in the Age-Friendly Health System initiative.Participate in thriving team-based care programs, including:Primary care and consult Geriatric ambulatory clinicDementia and other cognitive disorders in the Aging Brain Care programMobility in the Faint and Fall clinicIn-patient delirium prevention programHospital Elder Life Program (HELP)In-patient consultative serviceThis position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law.By joining our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for older adults through comprehensive and compassionate care.
