Position
SAS has an opening for an Ecommerce Specialist- Direct to Consumer Creative & Content who is highly motivated, proactive and flexible to work in a fast-changing industry. You will be responsible for increasing sales across our websites and optimizing our ecommerce channels and well as providing guidance for our physical stores to drive consistency across all channels.
Job Responsibilities
Support the web-based platform owner in meeting business objectives related to product content, including landing pages, product pages, and other information as needed based on merchandising and marketing strategies.
Maintain product content, including creating and removing categories as needed based on merchandising and marketing strategies.
Ensure that we are leveraging all possible cross-selling techniques to increase average order size (AOV) via content creation.
Review listings for best content and make updates as needed.
Ensure pricing on our brand sites is accurate and coordinate promotional pricing with internal teams.
Analyze daily metrics of sales, traffic, and conversion of online retail channels.
Stay on top of ecommerce trends and bring new ideas to the team, including B2B/B2C.
Need experience with Amazon & Walmart ecommerce a plus.
Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery, and optimization; review and analyze data to identify trends and insights to maximize SEO/SEM.
Assist with the coordination and execution of paid search campaigns (CSE, display, remarketing).
Coordinate the creation of digital content with Graphic Designers (e.g., website banners, email, display ads, etc.).
Assist in planning and executing new product launches on digital channels.
Assist in troubleshooting issues regarding the website and other digital marketing materials.
Provide copywriting support to the design and marketing team to ensure that website, email, and social media content is both informative and engaging.
Monitor social channels with the social media specialist and track trending topics and hashtags.
Manage social ad strategy, development, and analysis.
Develop and apply creative strategy, formulate concepts, execute and design for ad campaigns in print, digital packaging, POS, and social.
Review creative briefs to ensure alignment with brand identity.
Quality control of assigned deliverables, including press checks, production samples, and digital proofs.
Provide photography direction, both location and tabletop, including prep, styling, and photo editing.
Develop project plans, including budgets for biannual large projects.
Possess a passion for staying up to date with industry-leading software and technology to identify market trends and recommend strategy changes to improve customer engagement.
Exercise a commitment to continuous learning and skills development.
All other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
5+ years of graphic design experience and at least 2 years of ecommerce platform experience (preferably Salesforce or Magento).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic, a problem-solving mindset, and an "It Can Be Done" attitude.
Adaptable to fast-paced, open workspaces and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Education & Experience Requirements
BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Web Content/Design, or related field. Strong candidates can substitute experience and ability for higher formal education.
Advance skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
Understanding of preparing designs for print.
Experience with front-end web design, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript or other scripting/coding a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit or stand 8-10 hours.
Ability to work in a stationary position.
Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer, visual inspection, and prepare and analyze projects.
Consistently be able to operate a computer.
Must be able to lift 15lbs
