What impact you’ll make
As a member of the Combined Cycle Product Management Team, you will be a key contributor to defining and implementing the business strategy for Generator New Units.
In this role, you will own the life-cycle strategy, profitability, quality and competitiveness of GE Vernova’s portfolio of Gas Power Generator products.
This is a critical role in the Generator leadership team where you will have significant opportunity to demonstrate your creative problem-solving, technical, commercial, communication and process management skills in a complex, global and fast-paced environment. The Senior Product Manager – New Units Generator will be accountable for working collaboratively with other platform leaders as well as other functions as needed to create a differentiated GE Generator offering.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning and NPI program development for the Generator product line as both the internal and external spokesperson for Generator technology and value
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Commercial to deliver programs on time, on market target and on budget
Support regional Commercial teams and Application Engineering during the bid process, optimizing product and life-cycle attributes where appropriate to support specific project requirements
Work with Business Development team to support business licensing technology agreements
Improve product portfolio competitiveness through product cost, performance and cycle time reduction programs definition
Drive product commercialization, deployment, launch and promotion in partnership with Marketing, Sales and regional teams
Identify and present high-risk projects to business leaders and provide risk mitigation and reduction strategies
Drive product standardization and simplification opportunities and support cross business initiatives
Develop and maintain good level of awareness of the competitive landscape globally and per markets
Support the development of marketing concepts, strategies, budgets, and plans including literature required to promote, sell, and support the product portfolio
Ensure compliance with formal processes including ATQ, LCB and Toll-Gate Reviews
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university
Minimum 7 years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, and/or Customer Support in the Power Generation industry
Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.

Strong oral and written communication skills incl. presenting at the executive level
Experience with business development and strong customer service / customer focus mindset
Working knowledge of assigned systems and client organization and practices
Experience leading or managing programs of various size, duration, and scope
Knowledge of power plant economics and power industry market dynamics across Gas, Steam and Nuclear applications
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $134,000.00 - 190,000.00 USD per year. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 15% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 3/21/2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%,120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
