TREE TOP INC National Accounts Manager-Retail Sales in Selah, Washington

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The National Account Manager, Retail Sales is responsible for directing, managing, and achieving sales objectives while operating within approved budgets. The position manages customers and sales agents' performance and relationships with major national customers in assigned channels. The position executes sales strategy, objectives and forecasts sales volume for each assigned channel of business. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to the Director of Sales and does not supervise staff. The position works closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Demand Planning, Finance, Operations-Supply Chain, sales agents, and customers. QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY: KNOWLEDGE OF: Consumer packaged goods industry. Knowledge of Albertson's strongly preferred Principles and practices of selling strategies and methodologies, including managing brokers. Principles and practices of strategic planning and execution. Structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Contracting, negotiating, and change management. Pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations. ABILITY TO: Effectively manage sales and sales agents. Maintain confidential and sensitive information. Think strategically in order to drive organization-wide sales results. Utilize sales and influencing skills across written verbal and presentation forms of communication internally and externally. Identify, research, and analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, and project consequences of proposed actions. Gather, evaluate, and interpret information, particularly as they relate to information on funding sources, market issues, and trends. Effectively organize, plan, and execute. Proficient with MS Excel, MS Office, and Power Point Meet behaviors established in Tree Top's performance management and development process. EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION/LICENSES, AND TRAINING: A Bachelor's degree with a business concentration is preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of success in sales. Proven track record of sales success in major national account customers.
