Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and meticulous B2B Retail (CPG)
Credit and Collections Analystto join our team. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of B2B Retail accounts, ensuring timely collections, and resolving discrepancies. Additionally, the candidate will proactively evaluate creditworthiness and provide credit limit recommendations for small to medium-sized accounts. This role requires strong analytical skills, proactiveness, persistence, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize customer portals to obtain payment status, reconcile accounts, and retrieve outstanding balance details as needed.
- Proactively contact B2B Retail (CPG) clients via email regarding past-due invoices; partner to bring accounts up to date.
- Investigate disputes and discrepancies including scrutinizing Proofs of Delivery and Bills of Lading; assist in resolving customer billing and credit issues.
- Addressing collection inquiries, providing copies of invoices, statements, and documenting all activities in the High Radius Credit and Collections platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve past-due invoices, disputed invoices, and payment issues, ensuring A/R accuracy.
- Assess and authorize removal of credit blocks (blocked orders) in accordance with customers risk profile, including triaging and rectifying root cause for credit blocked orders.
- Evaluate credit risk: review, prepare and recommend credit limits for small and medium-sized accounts.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships, escalating issues to Management as needed for prompt resolution.
- Achieve daily and monthly team productivity goals and objectives.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties and projects, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience in B2B Retail collections required; Consumer Packed Goods (CPG) experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office
- Proficiency in High Radius Credit and Collections platforms and SAP
- Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize and perform duties with an exceptional degree of accuracy and consistency.
