Siete, Inc. Construction Project Superintendent in Shiprock, New Mexico
Siete, Inc. is currently hiring motivated and experienced leaders in New Mexico to oversee three separate NMDOT construction projects.
Siete, Inc. specializes in Heavy Civil Construction for Federal, State and local projects including heavy highway bridge and roadway construction. We pride ourselves in completing projects on time with highest quality and safety measures. As a Construction Project Superintendent, you will play an important role as a member of our leadership team. You will be responsible to coordinate all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities. You will also work to maintain positive working relationships with owners, architect/engineer, suppliers, subcontractors and jobsite staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises field crews
Manage direct hire personnel and subcontractors adherence to the plans and specifications all relevant project plans
Manage contract administration (subcontractor/field management meeting for communication)
Develop a program to maintain good owner relations involving onsite staff
Coordinate the work of subcontractors field forces
Initiate and attend supplementary and regular meetings with client for problem resolution and planning
Oversee and approve the monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
Review, approve and negotiate change orders
Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover
Maintain daily diary for record keeping purposes
Develop and maintain working relationship with project manager and other members of the Siete, Inc. team
Manage and maintain project schedule
Maintain the job site office and close out the project
Ensure that all performance evaluations are completed in a timely fashion for direct reports
Recommend, where appropriate, organizational, policy and procedural or staff changes
Other duties as assigned
