Job Posting: Warehouse Associate (Temp to Hire)
Location : Simpsonville, SC
Work Hours : Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Pay Rate : $18.42/Hr
Job Description :
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support one function within the Warehouse department (e.g., Shipping, Receiving, etc.). The position involves the transport and staging of products, maintaining work and product storage areas, and performing other tasks as assigned. This is an entry-level position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Education/Experience Requirements :
High school diploma or GED required.
Entry-level position – 2 years of experience required.
Forklift certification required (assessments will be conducted).
MUST HAVE DRIVEN A FORKLIFT WITHIN THE PAST 12 MONTHS
Skills and Competencies :
Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques to optimize the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Ability to operate relevant equipment (scan gun, forklift) and follow safety protocols.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Support of one function within the Warehouse department (Shipping, Receiving, etc.).
Transport and stage products in preparation for shipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work and product storage areas.
Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently.
Assist with other duties as needed.
Additional Requirements :
Must pass a drug test and background screening prior to starting (no exceptions).
Must be competent with scan guns and forklift operations.
Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay Details: $18.42 per hour
