Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance applicable to biologics and cell therapy manufacturing.

  • 0-2 years of experience in a cGMP warehouse environment and understanding of Supply Chain Management and APICS best practices for warehouse operations.

  • Required knowledge of Lab w/ blood & animal

  • Required knowledge of Position Handles Hazardous Materials

  • Experience in:

  • Distribution, receiving, temperature storage, issuance, and inventory control practices including cycle counting, and rejected/expired material disposition.

  • Understanding controlled temperature, humidity, and pest control monitoring for cGMP environments.

  • Transportation lanes and cold chain logistical movement of time critical and temperature sensitive biologics.

  • Freight forwarder and courier direct shipments and associated documentation requirements.

  • Use of material handling equipment – both gas powered, electric and manual.

  • Valid drivers license required.

  • Ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment.

    EDUCATION:

  • Minimum: A high school diploma with a minimum of 4 years of matching experience.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Material Handling & Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies.

  • Store, issue, and maintain accurate inventory records in compliance with cGMP regulations.

  • Perform cycle counting and assist with inventory reconciliation.

  • Warehouse & Storage Operations

  • Maintain controlled temperature, humidity, and pest control conditions for cGMP materials.

  • Ensure proper segregation of quarantined, expired, or rejected materials.

  • Follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materials and biologics.

  • Logistics & Distribution

  • Prepare, package, and ship time-critical and temperature-sensitive biologics following cold chain logistics requirements.

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and couriers for direct shipments and ensure all documentation is completed.

  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery to internal and external customers.

  • Compliance & Documentation

  • Adhere to FDA guidelines, cGMP regulations, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.

  • Support audits and inspections by providing required records and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

  • Equipment Operation & Maintenance

  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric/manual lifts.

  • Ensure safe operation and routine maintenance of warehouse equipment.

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license for material transport duties.

  • Team Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support production and supply chain operations.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

  • Assist in the implementation of new warehouse technologies and best practices.

  • Workplace Safety & Environmental Compliance:

  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Handle hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory and company policies.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse and storage areas.

  • KPI

  • The primary focus of the role will be to provide material movement and logistical support to internal and external customers in support of cellular therapeutic manufacturing at the Juno Manufacturing Plant (JuMP) during process transfers routine production, and technology improvements that support manufacturing operations.

  • The key deliverables for this role are helping to establish the JuMP warehouse operations and completing internal customer support assignments with high quality and timely output.

About the Role

We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team at our Bothell, WA facility. This role is responsible for supporting material movement, inventory management, and logistical operations in a cGMP-regulated environment. The Material Handler will ensure the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials, supplies, and temperature-sensitive biologics essential to cellular therapeutic manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience handling controlled temperature storage, cold chain logistics, and inventory control practices, as well as operating material handling equipment. This position requires adherence to FDA regulations, cGMP standards, and company SOPs to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role involves frequent interaction with internal and external teams to coordinate shipments, maintain warehouse operations, and improve supply chain efficiencies. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle hazardous materials, and lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
