Robert Half Test Center Administrator in South Portland, Maine

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Test Center Administrator in South Portland, Maine. The individual will be primarily involved in the administration and monitoring of various web-based credentialing or certification tests such as CPAs, LSATs, etc. in a testing site. This role operates in a secure, controlled environment that requires a high degree of integrity and understanding of confidentiality protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting test-takers in the check-in process and ensuring they adhere to the testing protocols.

• Confirming the identities of test-takers by checking their IDs as part of the center's security measures.

• Conducting regular security checks every 10-15 minutes to ensure adherence to testing rules and prevent cheating.

• Handling light office work, including responding to emails and managing test-related applications.

• Starting and stopping web-based tests, demonstrating computer proficiency and familiarity with specific applications.

• Ensuring that all test-takers' materials are in line with the testing regulations, disallowing unauthorized items such as calculators, notes, etc.

• Regularly monitoring the testing room, requiring mobility and physical activity.

• Maintaining the integrity of the testing environment, ensuring a fair and secure process for all test-takers. Requirements • Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a related role.

• Proficiency in Automated Testing is essential.

• Experience in Identity Verification procedures is required.

• Strong skills in Administrative Assistance are crucial.

• The applicant must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.

• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is required.

• Proficiency in using office equipment and technology for administrative tasks is necessary.

• The candidate should have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• An understanding of test center procedures and regulations is beneficial.

• A high level of professionalism and the ability to handle stressful situations is needed.
