Amergis RN Telemetry in Spencer, West Virginia
As a professional practitioner, the RN - Telemetry assumesthe responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of telemetrypatients. The RN – Telemetry demonstrates the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner, with supervision. The RN - Telemetry exhibits critical thinkingand performance ability in the coordination of patient care, and consistentlyperforms according to nursing standards while remaining accountable forproviding patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which thenurse practices
One year experience in Telemetry Preferred
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Specific Skills/Qualifications Needed
The unit provides services to patients with medical illness, injury, disease, or surgical procedures. The patient population in the unit ranges from newborn to geriatric. Commonly treated conditions and diagnoses include Diabetes, COPD and other pulmonary disease, coronary artery disease and chest pain, urinary system disorders, total knee replacement, hip replacements, and spinal procedures. Patients are treated and discharged to home or long-term care while some will require transfer.
1.5 year exp with ACUTE Care exp. (MS, Tele)
BLS, ACLS, PALS(Can get pals at facility)
• Nurse to patient ratios 1:4-6
