Meta Wireless Connectivity Certification Engineer in Sunnyvale, California
Summary:
At Reality Labs Wearables Wireless Hardware Team we bring cross-disciplinary minds together to deliver on our mission: build tools that help people feel connected, anytime, anywhere. Wireless Connectivity Certification engineer will be responsible for driving industry certifications on our products with Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth-SIG, PTCRB, EMVCo etc. and you will utilize your knowledge of connectivity standards and wireless device architecture to develop, plan and execute certification tests. Your continuous push for execution efficiency will secure certification grants on quality and on time.
Required Skills:
Wireless Connectivity Certification Engineer Responsibilities:
Establish test bed and test platforms for various certification activities
Analyze proposed features and identify applicable test scope
Establish test session requirements such as schedule, samples and supporting tools and documents
Drive test cycles and generate reports for internal and external partners
Debug issues identified during test cycles, work with FW / SW / HW teams to root cause issues and get them fixed
alternatively, work with test equipment manufacturers to resolve any setup issues
Submit reports to the relevant certification bodies and secure technical acceptance
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in wireless industry
Familiarity with test equipment ecosystem
Experience in EMVCo and BT-SIG certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with EMVCo test setups such as Comprion or National Instruments
Experience with BT-SIG profile test suites
Knowledge of NFC and BT-SIG standards and call flows
Thorough understanding of certification requirements
Public Compensation:
$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
