Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, removing debris and disposing of waste materials in designated areas, and ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and properly maintained. Adherence to health and safety regulations and guidelines is crucial. You will also report any maintenance or repair needs and assist with setting up and breaking down temporary structures as needed. Collaboration with other team members is essential to ensure the site remains clean and organized.
Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
Remove debris and dispose of waste materials in designated areas.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and properly maintained.
Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Report any maintenance or repair needs.
Assist with setting up and breaking down temporary structures as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the site remains clean and organized.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Good physical condition and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general labor.
Housekeeping or custodial experience is an advantage.

Work Environment
This position involves travel to multiple locations with varying schedules. Employees will work approximately 30 hours per week across different sites. Specific locations and hours vary per individual assignment but generally include evening shifts. The work involves physical activity, such as lifting and moving heavy objects, and requires adherence to a professional dress code suitable for janitorial duties. Employees are expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety at all times.

This is a Contract position based out of South Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
