Eaton Corporation Foundry Utility Worker in Syracuse, New York
Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Foundry Utility Worker. The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is 19.04 per hour.

What you’ll do:
Perform a wide variety of duties throughout the Iron and Non-Ferrous Foundry areas and in support of the grinding room operation following standard procedures or specific instructions.
Duties will involve grinding large and small castings, use of band saws, dumping and shakeout molds, hook off and shovel castings, pouring molds, transporting metal, core knockout, transporting materials and/or equipment with either fork truck, payloader, or operation of power vac.
Assist molder in machine set-up and clean assigned areas, operate shot blast cleaning equipment. Repair pouring ladles.
Operate automatic floor sweeper.
Perform minor maintenance duties such as tightening loose parts (spray nozzles, etc.), replacing parts (sprues, etc.).
Detect and report all defective materials; refer questionable cases to proper supervision.
Grinding Room duties include sort, clean, move castings and materials as required; operate shot blast cleaning equipment and fork trucks as required; sweep and clean area as directed; maintain equipment and area in a clean and orderly condition.
Follow prescribed or standard safety regulations.
Refer unusual or questionable situations to proper supervision.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
A minimum of (3) three months manufacturing experience.
Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LOCATION (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
