Job Posting: The Solutions Architect will plan, design and build IT architectural systems and solutions. This role will coordinate discovery of solutions, support capabilities design and requirements, transform requirements into architecture and design documents, and ensure Technology solutions to business needs are developed in accordance with the enterprise architecture roadmap, guidelines, and standards. Additionally this role will analyze the bank's application portfolios to create a technical roadmap plotting current and future systems, and also create documentation related to the technological infrastructure The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of the enterprise, the business, current capabilities and future needs, and proven experience in restructuring technology design and processes. As a part of the Technology Management team, this role will ideate, quantify, advocate for the value of, and drive adoption of technology solutions to integrate into the company strategy from the perspective of: sales revenue, cost savings, technology standardization, customer and employee experiences, and operational efficiencies. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to gather and translate business requirements into technological solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze how people, processes, and technology interact within current and future workflows. Provide architectural and solutions guidance and recommendations. Evaluate and maintain enterprise architecture standards, principles, frameworks, and roadmaps that support the business objectives and enable innovation. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies that can enhance the business capabilities and performance. Contribute to the oversight of Application Portfolio Inventory for continual reviews of technology solutions, issues or gaps with solutions and vendors, and provide recommendations for modernization of the bank's technology stack. Compile, develop, and deliver architectural guardrails, ensuring compliance across multiple technology domains. Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation. Produce solution design and technical architecture blueprints that guide the development and implementation of business solutions technology transformation projects. Job Specifications: At least 7 years of work experience in financial services, with specific experience in technology roles, operations, project management and coordinating across financial institution business areas. Demonstrated experience developing enterprise level solutions across multiple areas of banking business, operations and technology. Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree desired. Knowledge of financial services products and work processes and ability to manage new initiatives.
