Description

The Quality Control Scientist, under minimal supervision, is responsible for performing biochemical, physical, and chemical evaluations of process development, lot release, and stability samples following cGMP regulations. Additionally, the QC Scientist will develop, validate, implement, train other QC Scientists, and conduct troubleshooting for HPLC-based analytical methods. The QC Scientist will be expected to emphasize continuous improvement with regard to technology and laboratory operational efficiency and compliance, along with representing QC in cross-functional projects and initiatives. The QC Scientist will be responsible for the timely completion of assignments, while exhibiting excellent record keeping, written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform biochemical, physical, and chemical evaluations of process development, lot release, and stability samples following cGMP regulations.

  • Develop, validate, and implement HPLC-based analytical methods.

  • Train other QC Scientists and conduct troubleshooting for HPLC-based analytical methods.

  • Emphasize continuous improvement in technology and laboratory operational efficiency and compliance.

  • Represent QC in cross-functional projects and initiatives.

  • Ensure timely completion of assignments with excellent record keeping.

  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal leadership skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
