Job Description
- Set up machines for production, both within PLC and with mechanical parameters. Identify and diagnose quality issues, finding the root cause of problems. Make mechanical adjustments to equipment, including conveying systems.

Ensure product flows smoothly and finished product meets standards.
Troubleshoot quality issues and make necessary changes to equipment.
Essential Skills
Experience with mechanical machine operating (mold press, injection molding, press operating, CNC).
Mechanical aptitude and ability to set up and adjust mechanical printing and forming machines for paper and plastic bags.
Troubleshooting quality issues and making necessary changes to equipment.
Maintenance and press operating skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience or a track record of being mechanically inclined with interests/hobbies or previous jobs related to maintenance and machine operating.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to get to the root cause of an issue.

Work Environment
- The work involves making paper bags, such as those seen at grocery stores, as well as plastic bags. The company handles both the forming and printing of the bags. The environment is clean and climate-controlled, with a dedicated team to run each machine. Extensive training is provided as the learning curve to run the machines can take some time.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.75 - $24.75/hr.
