24 Installation, Maintenance, and Repairs Workers, Helpers needed on farms, in aviaries (large enclosures for confining chickens), assemble and install aviary components, including feed management, manure management, and egg collection components, all of which are light-weight in nature such that they can be handled by hand. These components are installed by hand with basic hand tools such as drills, hammers, and pliers. Install bird floor meshes, feed troughs, attach chicken waterer with catch cups, perches, cage doors, bird ramps, and other associated components for the bird environment. Installation requires lifting, carrying, bending, and stooping. Position fans and inlets by lifting them into corresponding openings and fastening them in place. No mechanical, industrial or electrical work involved. This is installation and assembly of aviary components on a farm in a simple, uncomplicated form. Work will take place in Darke County, Ohio.
